New piggy mama, help with C&C cage?

Hi everyone! I am a new piggy mama to my sweet Olaf.
I purchased a piggy cage set from petco not knowing how it wasn't what he needed.

I'd like to do a C&C cage for him, ASAP!

This is what I'd like to do, can anyone tell me how many cubes I'll need and how much coroplast?

You can order a cage from the guinea pig cages store or you can build one of your own. If you want to build one of your own @lissie can help. She's great at cage building stuff.

    Welcome to GPC.

The cage you posted has a lid. Do you have other animals, or small kids to keep out of the cage? If not, you do not need a lid. It will make the cage easier to clean with no lids.

For the cage, let's see how many grids you'll need.

    Main floor: 12 grids
    Stand: 22 grids
Top level (with that L-shape wall, and loft floor): 10 grids
Lid for both main & top level: 8 grids

    Total: 52 grids

For coroplast, a 4 x 8 ft sheet will be enough for both main level and loft.

See this page for how to build.
    http://www.guineapigcages.com/howto.htm

For the main level (2x4 grids) coroplast tray, cut the sheet to 39" x 68", score at 6", the finished tray will be 27" x 56" with 6" walls.

For the loft (1x2 grids) coroplast tray, cut the sheet at 39" x 25", score at 6", the finished tray will be 27" x 13" with 6" walls.
