One pig fighting all the rest. Don't know what to do.

My best friend and I own 5 guinea pigs(all females) and all get along pretty well expect for one. We got her from a lady who didn't want her and the other piggy she lived with, so we took them. They lived in a 5 gallon storage container with a good layer of poop and just filth. For a couple months she was fine and now she picks on everyone including the pig she lived with. She lashes out at all the others by biting, teeth chattering, chasing, hair puling, food/hut guarding; you name it she has done it. They live in a 2x5 C&C cage with a loft and she always has to be where they are so she can pick on them. She hasn't always been like this and it has been progressively getting worse and we have tried everything. We bathed them all together, separated their cage so she would still see and smell them through the grids, clean the whole cage so there was no distinct smell, and introduced them on the floor during playtime. I would really like for them to all live together and for the others not to fear her.

So all 5 pigs live in a 2X5??? That is too many pigs for a cage that size. Minumum cage size for 4 pigs is a 2X6 and you have 5 pigs in a 2X5. That's most likely why they are fighting.

Do you know how old the aggressive one is? That kind of behavior can be a sign of ovarian cysts, but they usually don't occur in very young pigs.

Check to see if her nipples are crusty, or if she's losing any hair along her flanks. She can have cysts without those two symptoms, but that's the exception rather than the rule.

And ditto @CavyMama about the cage size. Click the Main tab above for recommended cage sizes.

We aren't totally sure how old she is, but the vet guess around 1 or 2. How big of a cage would be good from 5 pigs?

i think in this case your cage is to small like cavy mama said
the thing about cages is the animal has to live in it so you should provide a cage large enough for all your pigs.
not trying to make you feel bad in any way. Just trying to educate so we can all learn from each other.
I am blind so cant see picks

A 2x7 minimum for 5 pigs I believe, but if she is being territorial you may need a 3x7. The added grid width made things much more peaceful for my girls.
