Sorry I'm new here and sorry for my english. (english is not my first language)
My guinea pig died today, my first guinea pig...It was so suddenly. She started today to be quiet, not moving, didn't even eat or drink. Immediately, I went to a vet but...she passed away after suffered for a short time. I'm devastated.
I don't know what to do to feel better, she was so adorable...:sad:For me she was a family member.
I can't believe how this happened suddenly. Yesterday she was fine..

So sorry for your loss. Guinea pigs are great at hiding any signs of illness so it can be hard to see signs. Or they are not healthy to start like ones found in pet stores tend to be and there's nothing that can be done. If you choose to get another pig(s) you've found a great site to get information on where to get your pig(s) to everything you should know about them preferably before getting one.

I agree with MamaP. It takes time. Most of us our attached to our pets and it's devastating when one dies. But never say never. Pets are the best companions and I can't imagine not every having at least one in my life.

I am so sorry for your loss. When my previous hamster died, I was upset and didn't want another hamster in my sight. But, as time passed another little hamster made her way into my life and I couldn't be any more happier with her. Just give it time. You will know when you are ready for another piggie. Rip to your little princess
