What is this in my hamster bowl?!

What in the world is this?! This does not look like any kind of food I give him. He is a male syrian hamster in a 20 gallon long fish tank and this was in his food bowl. Sorry I know this is for guinea pigs but I just need answers quick and I don't have time to sign up to a hamster forum

Oh my goodness. It probably is. Last night after I fed him his pouch was huge. I thought nothing of it since he stores everything. Thank you so much I thought he had some sort of wet tail .

I agree. It looks like a big ol pouch full of food that has been emptied. Not much need to worry. I used to have hamsters that did this.

My old hamster, Spawn, did this sometimes too. It does look really gross. lol

I see this sometimes in my gerbils' bowls. They like to sit in their bowls and eat.

My hamsters food is pretty unrecognizable after he jams it in his mouth and drinks water. He's pretty hilarious to watch !

Honestly, I thought it was just a bunch of odd poops with food stuck to them! (It happens with my hamster...a lot)
