In a couple weeks I am getting a hairless rat. I currently have 2 fancy rats. I have a ferret nation 2 story cage (hardware cloth wrapped around so nobody can squeeze through) I use fleece bedding. Just needing any extra care tips so I know what supplies I might need to pick up ahead of time. thanks!

Lots of warm blankets, cubes, hammocks, ect to keep them warm if you don't already have. You could buy a dark storage container and cut a whole in it and fill it with lots of blankets for him to snuggle in. I know my ferrets love this.

Yes, defiantly. When you cut the hole, burn the edges so there smooth and won't cut there skin.
