Is this safe to give to a guinea pig as a toy to chew on?

I don't know what it's made of. My mom puts these things in like a small base/bowl/plate/whatever for decoration in the house. Saw that my mom was getting rid of it so I just wanna know if my girl could have a little fun with instead of getting rid of them.

If it was used for decoration, I wouldn't use it as it may have been chemically treated to deter bugs and keep it from mildewing.

I wouldn't give it to them. You have no idea what it is made of, or what it might have been treated with.

I wouldn't give them that, but I bet you could make your own out of hay. Orchard grass might work best, I've found it's more flexible.

You can get a safe piggy hut that's sort of like that, woven out of hay. Might be from Oxbow, but I can't remember the brand. It's shaped sort of like a teepee, and my girls go crazy for it. A better, safer option.
