Should I switch them to adult pellets?
Henry is almost 6 months old, Niko is almost 5 months old. I also have two boys that appear to be adults now that I just rescued. The two that I just rescued were apparently on a really poor quality pellet (they had a small Ziploc bag with some pellets in it, the pellets smell disgusting!) So obviously I will be switching the two new boys to a higher quality pellet, but my question is, do I continue to buy the Alfalfa based Young Guinea Pig pellets from Oxbow for Niko, or just go ahead and switch all of my boys over? I think I should just switch all of them, but want to make sure I'm doing the right thing for all of them!

I would just switch all of them over to the adult pellet. If you wanted to you could always give the young one some food with more calcium like parsley or some alfalfa hay in addition to his normal diet until he reaches 6 months. He should be fine either way.

Re: Should I switch them?
I went to the store today to look at pellets, and the ONLY pellet I found that is not Alfalfa based is Oxbow, go figure! LOL! I LOVE Oxbow, but it is pretty expensive here. So I think I may just use up what I have here and order a 10 lb bag online.
