Hi, everyone.
Due to the events of what have been said.
I would like to clear things up, before anything else goes wrong.
Firstly, the cage my guinea pig Carabelle was in has caused a bit of drama.
The cage is a temp cage, as we are working on the upgrading of the cage.
As I rescued a female guinea pig to get Carabelle a friend.
As I found out guinea pigs prefer to be in packs or at least have a friend.
After a few weeks of having my rescue female, Cinnamon.
I found she was pregnant, after Cinnamon had her baby she became very protective and started to fight and hurt Carabelle.
So I had to separate them, she is only in that cage as I didn't have anywhere else to put at the time.
I pree much jumped onto eBay to find a bigger and better cage for them to live in altogether.
Then later down the track, I brought a run pen to extend onto the cage so they had even more room.
I also have rescued another female, Cookie recently for backyard breeding.
She was under weight and under sized and she no idea what veggies were.
My females helped to show her and now they all get on together and during the day they all run together in this big cage.
I have attached photos below, we only bring them in the smaller cages IF it is a very cold night or very wet and its only to keep them warm and they go out altogether first thing in the morning.
We also have another double story cage on its way so we can put one cage at one end and put the run one in the middle.
So, they can have lots of room to move in between the two cages at both ends plus the run pen in the middle.
If anything, I spend more money and time on my guinea pigs then I do on myself and I love them all very much and would never do anything cruel to them.
