the best hay i've ever bought...

all i can say about the hay from Sweet Meadow is WOOW 8o . my piggies smelled it as soon as i opened up the box. the smell is so sweet, almost remindes me of a frsh cut sugar cane. right now my piggies are eating their 3rd hand full. its definitley better than oxbow (sweet meadow is greener and the smell last longer and is cheaper than owbow). and they deliver fast too (i sent out a money order last thursday and i got my order today =0)).

Sweet Meadow

I agree, and have made a couple of posts about Sweet Meadow in this forum already.

I live fairly close to their farm...they are great folks. I visited their fields recently to pick up some bales of hay. It's a well run, family business. They use no pesticides or herbicides. They also offer local educational programs centered around animal care. They have recently acquired two young fawns they take care of...plus a wallobee; horses; dogs; rabbits; etc.

I used Oxbow originally, but have changed to Sweet Meadow completely. It smells great and my guinea pigs and rabbits love it.

hay

We received our hay and treats today and the smell - even before we opened the box it was shipped in was amazing. Cujo tore into it and the treats seem great too. They list 5 different treats for each weekday and they are all quite different and seem better than regular store bought. Anyone should really try this farm because everything seems to be excellent!

Re: hay

WOW! I am new here, and was just peeking around to see if I could find any new tips to make our piggie happy.

THANK YOU... this hay looks wonderful! We will definately get some for our fur friend, as he looooves his hay! We have been buying his hay from a local feedstore, but they just recently stopped getting timothy hay, and I had to buy a bag of (gulp!) Kaytee hay the other day. I mixed it 50/50 with the last of our bale, but our poor piggie is so unhappy! I'm afraid he thinks we are mad at him now! We will definately order him some new fresh hay just as soon as possible!
In HIS Love,
Marcy
