Question Question about baby male piggie

My 11 day old piggie has just started attempting to mount mommy....do I need to worry at this age? Or is it safe for me to leave him in with Mom and sister until he is 21 days old or do I need to take him out immediately??? Thanks so much for your help!

Also, on a side note...none of my piggies will eat cucumbers. Is this odd? I know it's something they can have daily...but they don't seem to like it at all.

21 is the magic number. Until then, he's just practicing.

That's a relief! I was a little worried seeing as he still nurses from mom quite often. He is eating pellets, hay, and veggies as well. Good to know that I can give him a few more days at least before he has to go in his own cage. I'm not looking forward to making him live alone for a bit. I plan on getting him fixed as soon as I can so that he can move back into the big family cage

Agree with above-day 21 is when you need to separate.

I have one that likes cucumbers and one won't touch them. They each have their own tastes.

I thought it could just be tastes...just thought it was odd that none of them will even touch the cucumbers. Any recommendations on another good daily veggie?

1 baby carrot, green pepper, cherry tomato, cilantro are common daily veggies in addition to lettuces

Yes, I bookmarked it so I can view it easily. I was just curious if they didn't like the cucumber if there was something that they may like instead The seem to love tomatoes and peppers...as long as they are getting what they need I am happy Thanks again for the info!
