Contests will run from Friday to the following Thursday with winners announced Friday and the new contest will start.

We count thanks and pins for the votes on the day the contest winner is announced. You might have got more votes after the winner was announced.

I just checked the thread. Looks like all the thanks you received were before the winner was announced.
