I need 13 grids. I don't really want to buy any more than that, I think one of the 3 cube sets will work. Anyone got any links to a 13 grid or 3 cube system (and anywhere that sells connectors if they don't come with the product you listed)??
I've just been through loads of online shops including Argos, Asda, B&Q, Tesco Direct, Screfix, Wickes, Displaysense etc but NOTHING. or if there is something it's too expensive. My mum refuses to pay much, and I’ve been doing several searches (like ‘mesh cubes’ ‘wire grids’ ‘wire cubes’ ‘storage cubes’ etc on any site that might have the slightest chance of selling. Still nothing :(

Please help!

(broken link removed) got mine from here - they were brilliant to deal with. Ordered Saturday afternoon delivered tues via ups, with the tracking number emailed to me. They also trade through Amazon. The pack is slightly bigger than you are looking for but I found them reasonably priced.

What size cage can you make with it? I'd like a 2x4 cage but with an extra layer

Hi

I bought mine from Grendle Enterprises who sell through ebay & amazon and also their own site: (broken link removed) . Look up "pet den". It will set you back about £45 for 26 grids and lots of connectors and ties.

I got mine from Grendle. Received them within 48 hours by courier too. I thought they were decently priced but did have a look around my local Dunhelm Mill/Homebase/B&Q type places before getting them from eBay.

Where is Grendle? Or do they have an online store?
Oh and how much are the cubes?

I found this website: Wire Cube Magazine Display
It's £29.95 including free postage and VAT, and if Grendle is cheaper then I'll probably go with them though ;)

I paid much more than that but I think I got more grids. I paid £44.50 including p&p for 26 grids & connectors. It's enough to make 2 x 2by4 cages.

@Vikki75 Well the link I posted is only £29.95 including postage etc but the link you posted says £34.99, reduced from £40.99....

@MishImpossible I get 20 grids with this package, and need about 18 anyway so I wouldn't pay the extra £15 for 6 grids, but thanks for the comparison.

That's cool. I know when it comes to things I want to buy, I'm a little impatient when it comes to looking around, I usually end up paying more if it means I can get it faster! I think Grendle also sell single grids, just in case you're ever looking for one or two. :) Good luck with building your cage x

Where can you get the coroplast for a base? I've found places that sell the grids but nowhere that sells coroplast :/

It's called correx in the UK
Teacratepackaging.co.uk sell 2mm correx and they offer 10% discount to guinea pig owners by mentioning "guinea" as the discount code. I got mine quite quickly. It was enough for a 2x4 with a 1x2 loft.

EDIT
I forgot to mention that 4mm is recommended but you can double up the 2mm.
