oh my god..these cages are awesome guys
unfortunately my cage is small. my guinea pigs are really small too but i want a bigger cage and i live in india and i cant find c&c cages and all crap.
i dont know what i should do but i m trying my best to buy a big one

You can build a cage from other materials. See this gallery for ideas. (broken link removed)

I've built my cage from wood and plexiglass. The cage floor is vinyl (like the flooring material)

Just put in a brand new purple fleece!!! The boys are in a 2x5. I was cleaning the other water bottle at the time and hadn't filled the hay racks so don't worry! They have another hidey house too! I'm trying to get more money to get new tunnels and toys I'm already at $20 in only 1 week!

So pleased just made these for my cage!

How is that particular fabric holding up? I love that but know it will get messed in with my piggies.

Actually not too bad! I used it to get it used up as I didn't want to use nicer fabric (is it was my first go making these! I wouldn't use it for anything that's going to get heavy traffic - but my Piggys sometimes sleep in these then I empty the poo out - pull the fabric out to wash and it's fine. Some slight staining from messy Piggys but nothing noticeable !

@Pariscamp, My babies have two glass Kaytee water bottles. They do not drip nor leak like the generic plastic Petco brand water bottles I had back in the day when my husband and I had fancy rats.

@Pariscamp, Oh, that is unfortunate that they cost that much to ship! :sad: What options do you have in France? Yes, they don't run and I suppose they are quiet. I've never really been bothered by the sound made by piggies drinking from a water bottle.

This is the piggies home. We have 2 girls in here and it's a bit bigger than 10sq feet. It's sitting on the floor currently but we are gonna get something to raise it in the next week or 2.

They love the space, they also love having their own sleeping spaces, as you can see lol. Olive is the black blob and Peanut is the brown piggy.

the brand is You and Me it's the "Run and Play" medium size. it's big enough to sit in with the pigs but the large would give even more space for the pigs to run in (it's not totally cramped if you're in the medium though)

Added an upper level! We added a third pig Randy (neutered male) a month ago and unfortunately our existing girl Snickers will not accept him even after proper introductions and a buddy bath : ( So I've added an upper level to our wood cage. Randy gets the entire top level plus a small section of the main level on the left. You can see his ramp down against the far left inside wall. Snickers and Lucy get the right section of the main level, aprox 2 x 4.5 grids. I did this so they can share a grid divider wall and Randy can at least smell and talk to the girls.





Still have to make fleece liners for the upper level and figure out water bottle and hay rack/bin placement. But really happy with this so far!
