I have 4 boys, Henry, Baltimore, Kyrie, and Noah. Just expanded the cage to 2x7 1/2. Plan on adding a second level on back half and adding 1 more grid length out on one end so it will be 3x2 grids.
I"ll be adding a bunch new toys/accessories soon and will definitely share an updated photo.

My cage for two girls -lower level is 2 by 5, and top is 2 by 2. I already changed ramp a bit -put it on the brick, and put binder clips on top and bottom, and tucked in the fleece on top:

Cage remodel! Used closet shelving, vinyl remnant, bent cube pieces for the ramp, and a large Midwest cage for the loft supported by 2 boards that we have velcroed together for more stability.

Nice looking @labeadel
:)
What are you using for a hay rack? I am still on a quest to find my perfect hay rack (is there such a thing hahaha).

Thank you!

finally put in the ramp and put the bins in the top portion. It's pretty cramped up there in a little 2x1 space, so I may change my mind on having the kitchen up there. IMG_7822.jpgIMG_7824.jpgIMG_7821.jpgIMG_7823.jpg

@jrv4babies, I found that at Home Depot. I think it was over in the shower area. It doesn't hang very well on the grids. It either has to sit on the top and then it's kind of high for them or it has to be hooked on to something else to be lower, which is what I'm working on finding right now. I found these hooks at 99 cent store that I don't know if it'll stay up with those... It is a great hay rack though. They can eat hay easily through the bottom and sides.

You mean brown strawberry house? On ebay, but not sure I would get it again. They absolutely adore it, and it is cute, but not a quality item - insertable pillow stitches fell apart after first handwash, and inside is not even finished properly - foam is sticking out. If I would put it into washing machine, I think that thing would just fall apart. The opening is large too, so my pigs wouldn't use it, but I safety pinned a bit of fleece forest on it and that solved the problem. Because of the foam it takes very long to air dry too.

I was about to buy one of those strawberry houses on eBay but was unsure of the quality. After hearing from you, I don't think I will even though they are cute. Thanks for the heads up.

You are welcome. I am thinking, I could make something similar using boning to make it stand up. From fleece. Just have to figure out the way to construct it.

My latest set up is a 2 x 5. Please let me know if you see any concerns or have suggestions to improve. It's got a platform underneath and I have it on two ottomans making it pretty tall but I enjoy having them at eye level and I use the small step ladder to reach when cleaning. It helps me to not have to bend over as much (back surgery makes bending hard to do).

2015-06-13.jpg 20150611_155117.jpgHere is the trios 3x6 cage. I also have 2 more cages. both 2x3s for my single pigs Bear and Shadow. Couldn't get pics as the sun is ruining the pictures.

Still no upgrade, sadly, but the 2x3.5 is better than their pet store cage! I "remodeled" the cage a bit, though I still don't have the hay rack exactly where I want it.

If there are any suggestions on my setup, please let me know! I really want to make it nice for them, though I am hopefully upgrading to a 2x5 very soon.
