Now these peaces of fleece are just till I get the others ones washed and cleaned up than I put there full ones in. If i can get them to stop going under them it be great .:)

This is my most recent cage- and the last (it took so long, and so much $) Honestly-C7C is the way to go!

Hopefully tomorrow the litter will be replaced with fleece!

I'm pretty sure Squint96 meant C&C. lol

P.S. The "&" symbol is on the same key as the 7 :p Just a simple spelling error haha.

Haha, yeah I meant that C&C cages are better- funny when i typed it it was C7C but I went back to fix it- apparently I didn't.
Anyways, its just plywood and plexiglass- but I don't suggest it- it is expensive, and hard to build, you have to paint it to keep water out of the wood, the holes have to have PVC pipe so the piggies don't eat the edges with paint, and once it is built you can't really make it bigger or smaller. But yes, it looks nice in a room:)

Wow i would have thuoght it was some sort of plastic or pvc .Very creative ! My hubby owrks for a home remodeling place.I would not worry on cost to much. But true you can't make it smaller or bigger. It is still great work your piggies must love it !

Finally, here's the girl's new cage! I'm so excited for it! They were so happy when I put them in, pop corning and running around. They've been fighting for a little bit in their old cage, but they've been in their new cage for a couple hours, and no rumbstrutting yet! They're so much easier to watch without a top, they're so interesting! And it's much easier to just reach in and give them a quick pet.
new cage.jpg Here it is! i also love having fleece, and so do the girls, earlier Harmony just cuddled up to the side of the cage and fell asleep.

My new official C&C cage.

100_0981.jpg100_0983.jpg

Sadly it still wasn't big enough to keep Zoloft and Xanax from fighting, so unfortunately I had to re-home him. But I still have my three troublesome teenagers...yeesh!

Side note: does anyone know of a place where to get the little connectors cheap in Minnesota? I find them online everywhere, but then they want to charge you twice as much for shipping. :(

Use zip ties. Their cheap and even stronger.

I agree. My cage is made entirely out of zip ties, except the base, and it's perfectly strong.

Here's an overhead shot of my cage today after I cleaned it, minus Stella and Arlo. The monster fleece is the first set of liners I sewed myself. Not as fancy as others, but it works! I wish I had more room to make a larger cage, but a 2x3 has to do until I can move out. The boys don't seem to mind though. They get along swimmingly!

Here's Stella sleeping in the fleece tunnel I sewed with the extra fleece I had today. I had to capture this! haha.

And of course a shot of the boys hanging out together :)
