How do you tell, can you please also include photos of a female and male pigs 'part' so i know the different cause i have no idea if i have a male or female pig......

I used that link to determine definitively that my guinea pig is definitely a girl.. It is... I was hoping she was a boy so I would know she isn't preggers.

Uh, HDFXDB, it's not always that easy. The genitalia can be very ambiguous on some pigs until they're several weeks of age, and occasionally even experienced vets and long-time rescuers have trouble telling the difference. If they look like your picture, they're home free. But if there's any ambiguity, people should keep any unneutered animals apart after the age of three weeks until they're definitely sure.

Touché, I was assuming that the pig was at least a few weeks of age.

So, on Samantha, she has the "Y" and there's a flap of skin above the "Y", but no hole. I've tried poking and spreading and don't see anything that would indicate male.

Read the link I gave you in post #2 -- there are instructions and lots of pictures.. The acid test for determining if it's a male is to turn the pig on its back, put your index finger just in front of the genitalia, and rub gently back and forth across the pig. If it's a male, you should be able to feel the ridge of the penis there.
