Hello, i would just like to note i am a new member.

YOU WILL NEED:

1. Flower Pot Or Baking Tray

(this is a baking tray)

2. Soil

3. Grass Seeds

(some grass seeds)

STEPS:

1. Fill your flower pot/baking tray with half of your soil

2. Add in the seeds

3. Add a little more soil on top

4. Pour a little water on top (tap water or drinking water)

5. Put it near a window sill, please do not put it outside bugs and other creepy crawlies might get in

6. Water DAILY

7. In a week or 2 you will have long grass for your guinea pigs

8. Trim the grass and give to your pigs!

:) Did i help much?

Is there a particular grass you like to use?

what a good idea! I was eying some dandelions in the court yard today but I'm not sure if the grass was treated with pesticide. When the dandelions go to seed I might try growing some of those and grass!

I have a short question (and maybe sounds silly)...

If I already trim the full grown grasses and gave them to the pigs, would the trimmed grasses regrown again? Or should I put another new seeds?

The grass will regrow after being cut. Unless you are me, in which case you will immediately kill anything you try to plant

It will grow back within 4 days! Amazing isn't it? Great for the piggies too :)
