Pellets How often?

When we first got our guinea pigs the man we got them from told us to give them around 1/4 cup of pellets each twice a day.

I am wondering if this is enough, or two much, I'm not sure if I should be feeding them their pellets all at once or twice a day. My question is: how much should two adult male guinea pigs get a day and how often?

The recommendation is for 1/4 cup pellets per pig once a day.

Depending on brand, the suggestions are 1/8 to 1/4 cup per pig per day.

So, I am giving them to much? I give them Martin's little friends guinea pig food.
