lol Actually fleece is expensive at first but is much better than bedding!
I'll tell you why, you can wash all the poo off and it is much more cozy and clean when your guinea pig popcorns! Here is the answer to your question. No it is not true, many of the best guinea pigs were raised using fleece, and no impact! So maybe that guy just wants to scare you or that's just his oppinion! (Or he is a liar:liar Hihe! I don't have a guinea pig but I know a lot about them! There is a big thing on fleece and bedding these days and fleece is winning!
