Green Peppers
Pugsley loves green peppers, like absolutely loves green peppers. The second I sit down a chunk he snatches it away and gobbles it up in his tent. My question is do I need to feed him a variety of veggies? He primarily eats green peppers and every once in awhile I throw in romaine lettuce, or a chunk of carrot. Or is he okay on just his daily diet of green peppers?

Re: Green Peppers
Yes, they need a variety of fresh veggies and the occasional fruit EVERY day. They need a minimum of 1 cup of veggies per day. green peppers are an excellent source of vit. C and can be fed everyday. So can cilantro.
Lettuces (except iceburg---none of that ever) should also be fed everyday. I like to give a cup of lettuce and a cup of other veggies every day.
Check out the fruit and veggie chart and the sample diets to see what they should be getting and how often.

Also, carrots are more of a treat veggie and should be given more than one a day and no more than the size of your pinkie or a baby carrot.
