But, I have to scroll left-to-right to read posts. Is this something that is being worked out, or am I the only one having this problem?

The site is coded to a screen resolution of 768x1024 so if you don't want to scroll then set your resolution to the higher setting. I had that same problem as I normally use 800x600 so I can see things better (old age, bad eyes, ha) but now I am trying the new resolution. It's hard to see at times and I have to squint even with my glasses on but I am doing ok overall. It just takes some getting used to.

Its not too bad, rather girly though! Only real problem is where you have the menu bar on front page with things like new posts and search, it is very hard to see the writing. My bf can't see any writing with his bad eyesight, even i had trouble. You need more contrast I think.

I love all of the hard work you put into this. The 5 new threads is a great idea. I am not great with the computer though, is there a way to get the site to fit my screen better? I have to use the left/right bar to read every line on all threads.

Well, sorry for those of you who have to scroll, but the vast majority don't and if I code to the absolute lowest common denominator, then I give up too much real estate which is needed for content.

Hopefully a better monitor is in your future. They are so inexpensive these days. I know what you mean about eye site. I'm there, too.

A bigger monitor is in my future, hopefully within the next 6 months. I am also going to be building a new computer for myself and a bigger monitor is one thing I want to go with it.

Quite honestly, I don't like it. I've been trying to get used to it, but I find this one annoying. I miss the older layout.
It's obvious you worked hard on it, and I'm glad others like it, but I hope they'll be an option for me to change it back sometime soon.

Just an update to those on this thread that you now have a choice of styles. The alternate style is very similar to the old one.

How funny! At first when we changed over, I was really missing the cooler blue colors and the yellows and greens were difficult for me to get used to. I just switched to "Blue Piggies" for a moment, and the blues seemed shocking to me, so I had to switch back.

I had to switch back. The pinks were driving me nuts. I'm very sad about the scrolling over still. Well whatever.
