Mine wont eat veggies. I have tried. Any advice?
Yeah, stop using the drops again. It will take them a bit to get used to the taste of the plain water vs. the water with the drops. In the meantime, just make sure to wet the veggies a little first. They will get the water they need and if that's not enough they will drink their water from the water bottle. We are fairly new to cavys. We were using vitamin drops until I read they weren't nessesary (we feed a variety of fresh veggies and fruits) and could cause our cavys to drink less. We stopped using the drops in the water for a few days and it seemed they were actually drinking less than when the vitamins were in the water. Any suggestions? For the time being we have gone back to drops.
Thanks.
C will normally degrade as it's exposed to light and air so not sure how true this is.I've also heard that if i use boiled water it has no chlorine so the vitamin C will not degrade, would this be better?
