If there was a way to get her to Ohio, I would most definitely take her.

Shouldn't you ask some questions before just handing your pig over to someone?

I thought the purpose was to get her into a home where she will have a C&C cage and another guinea pig for company plus it sounds like she needs to see a vet for her foot condition or have some sort of treatment. Do you even know if they will pay for a vet?

I was about to ask, and then my mom took the computer. Hah, sorry.

Anyways, here come the questions.
1. Do you have appopriate space for her? (C&C cage? Will you provide one?)
2. Are you in driving distance of a cavy savy vet? Would you be able to take her there if she needs it?
2. Will she have a buddy?
3. Do you have the financial support to pay for vet bills, food, and other materials?

Requests-
- She loves cranberries. Feed them to her sparingly.
- Let her crawl around on your chest and lick your face.
- She loves when her little tush is scratched.
I will provide her a c&c cage
yes, thats where i took my hamster to
yes, a brown, white, and balck GP
food, materials,vet: no prob.

but im still waiting for parents aproval my dad says yes, just waiting for mom

Cashew---Maybe you should in a private conversation ask for a vet reference and call their vet to make sure they are in fact a patient with their other guinea pig and make sure they are reputable with the care of pigs.

You should check those kinds of things anyways when finding a perfect home for your loved one, but especially with Cashew seeing she already has a medical condition that needs treatment.

I would also have your mom talk to his/her mom and make sure this is all ok and that if something happens to Cashew they are going to support her financially.

Also is there other pig a male or female and what are their living conditions like? Have they posted or shown you the cage their current pig lives in?

What kind of food do they feed, how much, etc, all of these kinds of questions are VERY important. Not saying anything bad against Blood, but truly you just never know and you want Cashew to have the best home she can possibly have, for that is the reason you are having to rehome her. It would be awful for you to let her go and than relieze she went somewhere that does not care and provide for her (not saying Blood would do that, but . . .). I also just want to bring up the point that Blood is a new member, most of the post are only from this thread---are they new to guinea pigs as well? Have they built a CC cage? Are they knowledgable about their care???

If you fail to find out all of these kinds of questions, truly you will be failing Cashew. She would be better off in a rescue than in someone's hands who want her on a whim and than tire of her and she becomes neglected or worse (not saying Blood would do that). Please think about what I am saying and ask questions, be hesitant, and ask for proof about who they claim they are and what kind of home they are going to provide.
