    Question Joining pieces of coroplast?

Hi there! I'm new to the forum. How are you all doing?

Forgive me if this question has already been posed. In fact, I've searched the forum and haven't gotten a clear answer. But anyway, here goes: I was able to get a hold of a couple scrap pieces of coroplast. I have just enough to make a 2x3 cage. I've read of some folks taping the scraps together; however, is there a special way to tape them? I mean, should I simply lay the pieces side by side then tape them or overlap the pieces a little then tape?

Any answers out there would be a big help and greatly appreciated.
    Take care,
    P

I just stuck two pieces right up against each other as close as possible with no overlap, and taped across the seam with packing tape.

If I were to tape 2 pieces together, I personally would tape the underside as well. I guess for added support and piece of mind for me.

Thumbs up Re: Joining pieces of coroplast?

Thank you all for your helpful responses. They are all truly appreciated. I think I will begin construction of the bottom of the cage at the week's end. Wish me luck!

    Best,

I overlapped my pieces about 2" and used double sided tape to hold them in place, then i used duct tape on both sides of the coroplast to secure it better.
