    pellets

I finally found a store that sells cavy cusine.
Does 12.95 for a 5lb bag sound right?
There is another store that I think might have it too. I could check the price there if this sounds too high

That sounds a little high to me, but if you're in Hawaii, I'm sure things are a bit more expensive.

If it was a 10 lbs bag then I get the price but that is high even for Hawaii.

I pay about half that for a 5lb bag.

In Canada, it is about $15 CDN for a 5lb bag. So I would not be surprised at that price in Hawaii.

    Re: pellets

On most products I pay about a dollar to a dollar and a half more.
It was deffinately 5lbs I double checked because it seemed so high.
I have another pet store that sells a different brand but the pellets are dark green and nice looking. I am going to compare to oxbow and see how they stack up. The expensive pet store is also the one that sold us our two "boys" now I have a pregnant girl and a boy.
The other pet store only sells birds and only a few at that.
They seem to have nicer pet supplies. Its just farther away.
The pellets I have now are junk. I didn't know then but I know now.
I guess tomorrow when I drive into town I will check and see what they have there.

    Re: pellets

I just checked the oxbow website. Wow was that store expensive. If I order direct from oxbow it will be half of what that store was asking.
I was wondering when I can get kaytee hay for 1.99-3.00 this store had it for 6.99. I just need to stay away from there. they are just too expensive.
I also noticed today they had 4 larger guinea pigs in a cage together. I doubt they even checked the sex on them.
