My sweet boy Sawyer passed away peacefully in my arms tonight at 7:35pm.

Aw, @scoottie.....I am so very sorry. It always hurts so very much to lose one of our little ones. It is a curse but also a blessing to be able to hold them, loving them in their final moments. They pass knowing how much they are loved.

Rest easy at the Rainbow Bridge, sweet little Sawyer. You're going to make a bunch of new friends there while you wait for your family to come and get you to take you home one last time. If you see my boys, tell them I miss them horribly. Then let them get you into as much trouble as they can!

He was sassy as he was adorable even threw piggy tantrums when I didn't deliver the pellets fast enough ��. And as crazy as it sounds I don't think I will be owning guinea pigs again I don't think my heart can take it.

I thought the same thing. I really did. Here I am after 11 years and have pigs 5 and 6. Among other things, I realized that there were other pigs out there who needed me. And after some time I realized I needed them too.

Besides my emotional reasons I also now have a larger financial responsibility that I didn't have when I had my piggies.

My sympathy to you @scoottie. I lost Lacey a month ago, so I understand completely how difficult it is. I hope your memories of good times will help to ease the saddness. Take care of yourself.
