Nutrition Need new Vit C source

My girl, Pumpkin, has decided she doesn't like bell peppers anymore so I am looking for a high Vit C lower Calcium food to give her.. Cilantro is low in Vit C, parsley is high but parsley is high in Calcium. Suggestions welcome. Thank you!

You can always use Oasis drops. Make sure you get the Vitamin C one, and not the multivitamin. Packaging is almost identical

Just draw up .3 or .4 ml and give it straight to your pig, or sprinkle it on other veggies.

Stop feeding the peppers for a while, then try again in a few weeks. Sometimes they get tired of something and when it shows up again they are interested.

Mine decided she didn’t like peppers right after I had just bought several. So to keep them from spoiling I cleaned them, sliced them up and froze them. Turned out she liked them frozen.

Thanks! I have never tried frozen before. I'll put some slices in the freezer and switch to parsley for now. :)

Besides the drops, mint is high in vitamin c and so are tomatoes! I do drops and a small portion of herbs and veggies containing vitamin c!

Tomatoes are not high in vitamin C.

Mint is high in calcium, about the same amount as parlsey. Give it as a treat only.

From the USDA (https://fdc.nal.usda.gov/), 100 grams of each item, then the amount of vitamin C:

Tomatoes: 13.7 mg of Vitamin C
Red Bell Pepper: 128 mg
Yellow Bell Pepper: 184 mg
Green Bell Pepper: 80.4 mg

I moved your link to your chart off the forum because it contains a number of inaccuracies. If you want to rework it and send it to me, I'll consider posting it again.

1, one cup of cherry tomatoes has 18.9 grams of vitamin C. One cup of red bell pepper has 190 grams -- 10 times as much as tomatoes. Green peppers have 120 grams, a little over six times as much.

You need USDA data -- that's the gold standard for nutritional analysis. That link I gave you will have everything you need.

But you need to be careful of what measurements they're talking about. Most things will be measured in 100 gram amounts, but you may find some in ounces or cups. You just need to be sure they're the same, else you'll be comparing apples and oranges.
