Infection Help!Green/brown spots both sides of mouth I’ve never seen this before please tell me

Hi there I have a male guinea pig about five or six years old that just had some greenish brownish lumps appear by his mouth. He eats Romain lettuce almost every day also carrots broccoli Timothy hay and pellet food.I’ve never seen this before please tell me what to do, Thank you in advance for any helpful information I just joined us because I’ve been googling and this came up.

Looks like the beginning of cheilitis to me, but the picture is pretty fuzzy.

The one picture that you said was blurry was about three days ago . those other new two are tonight ,I've been adding Neosporin a little bit each day

It looks to me like it's getting worse. I'd see a vet.

He hasn’t eaten much in the last day or two I tried everything! I’m going to have to see if tomorrow I can find a vet, I thought the Neosporin was helping; but with him not eating now ? I’m so scared he is old,

Hey there i couldn’t remember how to make a new post and you replied to one of my old ones. I have a question can you help me , my 4ish year old male just stopped eating. I got all his favorites idk what to do ?is it old age or what?

So sorry he is not feeling great. Make a vet appointment. Meanwhile get Critical care and force feed him. Or mash up some pellets with water and feed him with a syringe every 2 hours.

He needs to see a vet, ASAP. Guinea pigs can go into gut stasis and die within a very short time if they don't have food continually moving through their digestive tract. But if the reason he isn't eating is that he's got some kind of a blockage, then force feeding him can make it worse.

But make no mistake -- this is an emergency that needs to be taken care of NOW.
