    Fur on veggies

Anyone else go mad seeing a lot of hairs on chopped veggies? Bella has longish hair as an abby and she can just breathe on her plate and it's covered. Anyone imagine them eating it and having tummy issues?

Think about it, Artista. How do they clean/groom themselves? Because they have little dexterity with their front paws, EVERYTHING in a cavy's world is explored with the mouth. If there was a problem with them swallowing their own fur, then there would be no guinea pigs in our world.....except perhaps skinnies and Baldwins.

I hereby nominate you and Bella as members of the "shedding Aby club" which I formed about six years ago. Both my Chester and later my Sparky were prolific shedders. I could brush Sparky for what seemed like an eternity (he obviously enjoyed it) and 30 mins. later he would shed all over my black slacks. I'm hoping that my new little boys don't grow up to be shedders.
