We've adopted two ferrets today! We are not entirely new to them, but this is the first time we've had them in many years, so I want to get up to speed on any new info and find some recommendations....Any help is very very appreciated!
We haven't chosen names yet, but they are a neutered male and spayed female, both 9 weeks old
What is the best bedding? I know they're sensitive to dust, so I'm mostly seeing carefresh paper type beddings, wood pellets, or fleece. What are the pros and cons to each?
What is the best food brand?
What are the best and safest toys?
Are there any good, active ferret forums, or active ferret owning members here?
Any other advice you think we should also know is appreciated as well!
( For any who know we also have two guinea pigs, don't worry! Both ferrets and piggies have VERY secure cages and will always be in separate rooms. We know ferrets are master escape artists and hunters )
