Hey! I cut to far on my piggies nail today and I panicked and dipped her whole foot in styptic powder, I brushed a lot of it off but there was still a little on there and she stuck her foot into her mouth and licked it off, is that okay? I want to make sure I didn't accidentally poison her. the powder I used was Remedy + Recovery, ingredients are Ferric subsulfate, Hemostat, Bentonite, Potassium Aluminum Sulfate, Diatamaceous Earth, Ammonium Chloride.
It says safe for dogs cats and birds so I assume everything is okay but I want to make absolutely sure.

I don't think it will cause her any harm since it was such a minute amount. As an FYI you can use cornstarch or even flour in a pinch. Good old-fashion sustained pressure will also work.

I did the same thing to one of my pigs a while back. I also dipped the whole foot in the powder....she also licked it off but was fine afterwards!
