Diet Wondering about what to feed my under-6-month piggie

So I'm planning on getting a baby Guinea pig. The place where I'm getting him at has not and will not give me any advice for feeding it, so I've come here for help. I know I need to feed him alfalfa until he's older than 6 months, but what I don't know is whether or not I can/should feed him Timothy hay pellets and alfalfa hay, or the opposite, or some other combination of the two.

Timothy hay and alfalfa pellets are the best way to go. Alfalfa isn't a grass hay, and they need grass hay to keep their teeth ground down and their GI tracts moving properly.
