@bpatters I will be asking tomorrow when they call again for an update I do have to say they do call frequently for condition updates which is a change from my last vet. I am also giving bene bac with every dose as well waiting about an hour after.
Is that still the normal for pro biotics?
They say only once a day but to be safe I am doing it after each dose. Its been so long since either one of them have had to been on anything that I want to make sure that his gut still continues to move properly.

There's no need to give BeneBac with the antibiotic. It's designed to be given 60-90 minutes before or after. I prefer after every dose.

I came home just now to find this on Sawyers nose that wasn't there this morning. What the heck could he have done? And how can I treat it

It's possible. But it could also be fungal. Even if it isn't, it's in a great place for a infection to develop on that open skin. I'd get some antifungal ointment and apply sparingly twice a day with a q-tip, rubbing it in well. If it doesn't look better in a week or so, switch to antibacterial ointment and treat the same way.

If you ever fine he's glued himself again, just let it be. It will come off naturally.

You could try it. If it's actually a fungal infection, it's well set in, and the coconut oil may not be strong enough to get rid of it.

I don't really think it is one though I don't think I have ever seen a fungal infection happen in a few hours. He didn't have it in the morning and by the time I came home from work it was on his nose.

My New Year has gone off to a rocky start with Sawyer bleeding profusely from his nose I have called the vet and I am now waiting on her to call back when she will be in the office today. Picture was taken after I cleaned him up and when I say blood was everywhere I mean everywhere his back legs front legs and me it has since slowed down his behavior and eating habits are all the same.

Possible hay poke. They can bleed like crazy. Keep an eye on him, but it may not happen again.

I would opt for, "no news is good news". If they are saying you can pick him up other than the myriad of other bad things they COULD have said, I'd say cautious optimism should be your way of looking at it! :)

Why on earth would they have you pick him up if he's still bleeding?

Gave me a very broad what it could be infection, vitamin c deficiency, hay poke, or tumor its my normal vet too. His teeth are perfect the vet said his throat is red (probably from the blood) and his droppings show signs of having blood in it after they did a gram stain (again from the blood coming from his nose)
