Conditions I have a male skinny

Black in color. He shakes his head and makes this sound with his ears. I looked at his ears with a flashlight and everything looks ok. My question is this a behavior quality of male skinnies. He occasionally scratches his ears but the shaking thing he does more often. I’m hoping there is another male skinny owner out there that may be able to shed some light on this behavior. Thank you.
