Is there a way to tell how old a guinea is?

Nope.

Guinea pigs usually reach a stable weight at around 10-12 months, so if they're not gaining, they're probably at least that old.

Very young GPs have small, thin, sharp nails, but they thicken pretty quickly as they get older.

Senior pigs will have changes around their eyes that make them look older, their nails tend to curve pretty badly, and they don't move as much.

Anything in the middle is just a big guess.

An experienced cavy-saavy Vet can often pretty accurately estimate the age.

I've always found their nails to be very telling... an adult guinea pigs nails are thicker and look a lot like a little dogs; while babies nails are smaller and thin and look more similar to a cat's.
I've also found this age-by-size chart a pretty good guide:

Birth~ 3-4 inches
8 weeks~ 6-8 inches
16 weeks~ 8-10 inches
Adult, 14 months~ 8-12 inches

You can always google pictures of babies compared to adults to give you an idea too :)

Guinea pigs are no more all the same size than kids are. She's young, if she fits in one hand, but there's no way to know how old she is.

You can't know for sure, just like bpatters said...if I had to guess, I'd say around 8 weeks? She's the size one of my piggies was at that age :)
