    Sherwood Pellets?

I give my girl KMS timothy based pellets. Anyone try this? Claims the healthiest with no grains or soy and poops come out normal shape.

All the claims are anecdotal, no real studies to point to. I wouldn't use them.

    Re: Sherwood Pellets?

When Sherwood Pellets first came upon the scene I purchased a bag and my pigs absolutely would not eat them. I tried for days and they just sniffed them and walked away. It was kind of sad to see them getting so excited for their pellets and then you could see the disappointment in their faces when they realized they weren't their regular pellets. I even tried to mix them and they just pushed the Sherwood out of their dishes. By the 5th day, I just gave up and went back to their regular pellets.

I had been feeding all of my pigs KMS pellets for years but when the company changed hands it seemed like the formula for the pellets might have changed a little. I noticed my pigs weren't as excited or interested in them as they had been in the past. I switched over to Oxbow pellets and have been feeding them exclusively ever since. My pigs seem to do very well on them.

My girl loves KMS. What I like is it's freshness. They make in small batches.
