Why do Guinea Pigs like brownies so much?

Whenever we make brownies, Lucy and Penny wheek. They wheek when the brownies get pulled out of the oven, get cut, etc. It must smell really tasty...

To be clear, we don't feed them brownies.

My pigs don't seem to react to the scent of baked goods but they do wheek and run around a lot when I have certain TV shows on. For some reason, they get so worked up when they hear The Price Is Right. I think it must be all the clapping and cheering.

By the way, after reading your post I am now craving brownies. Lol!

They are probably reacting to the noise, not the smell. They likely associate any noise coming from the kitchen as "food is coming!"
