Hi!

Our skinny pig Pippa, who is almost a year old we believe, is currently living alone, so on Friday we will finally be getting her a friend! :) We are getting her new piggy friend from a family who had an accidental litter of 1 male and 2 females. They are almost 9 weeks old

We are worried about introducing Pippa to a new pig because we have no idea how she is going to feel about a newbie in her cage. We had intended on adopting one piggy but we are seriously considering adopting both of the girls (1) as a precaution in case Pippa doesn’t like other piggies, so our new baby has a companion (her sister) in case things go wrong, and (2) we are wondering if it could be potentially easier for Pippa to be introduced to 2 piggies vs 1.

Our main question is: is it more likely that Pippa will get along with 1 piggy baby on her own, or 2 sibling piggies??
