Guinea pig making a high pitched whistle
Hello all. My guinea pig Cocoa is making a high pitched whistling sound, as if it came straight from the whistles you can buy at the store. I know sometimes she does this when trying to get into a hidey that her cagemate is already in, but this time she did it out by herself and when looking at me. Does anybody know what this means and is it something to be concerned about?

Re: Guinea pig making a high pitched whistle
It means she's a guinea pig, and it's nothing to worry about. She's trying to tell you something, probably that her cagemate is already in the hidey.
BTW, all hideys should have at least two doors so no pig can get trapped by another.
