What are "popcorns" and "full tilt laps"?? I am new to cavies, and so I have no clue what I should be looking for in my happy guinea pig.

Popcorning: This is something highly amusing which indicates that your piggies are very happy.

Popcorning can involve a number of different moves - head twitching, body twitching, twisting, leaping, running and even rolling. It may look like some kind of seizure to an untrained eye, but rest assured that it is very normal piggy behaviour and is the equivalent of a dog wildly wagging it's tail!​

I had two foster piggies a while ago and when they first had indoor floor time they were popcorning so much I got the chance to film them a number of times. Watch their capers in this short video:

Full tilt laps just means running around in circles, or running around the perimeter of their cage.
