Hi,
I just recently got 2 female guinea pigs and I have them both placed in a 4x2 cnc cage. I was just wondering how long in other people's experience is for there guinea pigs to feel comfortable around them? I have had them for 3 days now ( I know that is still really early and new), they get along together and cuddle together no flighting. They come out from their houses when i'm just sitting at my computer which is right next to their cage but as soon as I move and get up they run inside.
When they are outside their house they eat and drink and do all the normal piggy things. They also seem to run a lot, and I mean a lot and they do the little spaz jump like they are popcorning from what I believe, I am just sitting at my computer next to them with the 2 not having an issue doing what I said. Just wondering if that was normal for them to be comfortable with me next to them but once I come home or get up they run away and hide. Again they are still really know and I know it takes time to tame them. I have had 2 pigs before at separate times but I was young at the time and don't remember the tame process.
