Introductions Re-pairing Guinea Pig

I had a guinea pig just die from an upper respiratory infection. I only had two guinea pigs so now one is left alone. She was very personable with the other pig so I feel like she must be lonely. She is acting fine, but I wonder if she want a friend. She is aproximately 3 years old. Is she old enough to where she should live alone or is there a chance at finding her another friend?

Most sows get along very well -- it's rare to find one that doesn't. And I'm sure she'd appreciate a buddy -- she should have a lot of good years left.
