Happy Friday! I took my piggies to the vet today and they are healthy and happy girls. He did mention making sure they are getting exercise and how digging is a natural behavior for them. Does anyone have an outside enclosure for them where they can dig, run, and play for a little bit every day? I obviously would never leave them unattended or where they could get hurt. I just want to make sure they are the happiest little guinea pigs on the planet. TIA

First, find a different vet. The one you went two knows nothing about guinea pigs. They are NOT natural diggers, and many never dig at all.

Second, if you happen to have pigs that want to dig a little, let them do so in the bedding their cage in the house. It's too hot for them to be outside, and there are too many stinging insects and other predators for it to be safe for them. But I'm betting they won't dig at all.
