    Lightbulb Alternative Play Toys

Every item I buy for my babies is always a bust and they'd rather eat the cardboard box it was shipped in. Recently, they've been tossing around a large binder clip and feeling it around with their teeth. It's becoming one of their most beloved toys.

What other toys do you think they'd be into?
Do guineas like playing with other light metal objects?

One of my boys, Sly, and his brother Pooper, for a while were fascinated with a Matchbox car. They never chewed it, but it had some sort of spoiler on it that they could pick up with their teeth, and move it around.

They also for some reason loved plastic thread spools. The bigger ones. Obviously with no thread on it. They would pick it up and throw it, or roll it around with their nose. Sly loved doing that his entire life. Also cardboard toilet paper tubes with all the paper and glue removed.

Not sure how much I'd want them playing with a binder clip. The handles are spring loaded to fit and if it pops out I'd hate to think what might happen.

Yeah, I wouldn't let them play with binder clips either. Too much danger of getting tooth hung in one.

Look at the bird toys section and see if you can find some small safe things.
