Question is my foster pig pregnant????

    Hi
Fostering a young sow the vet thinks is pregnant. The latest she could have got pregnant is 63 days ago. She has a small bump but nothing huge. She is Really skittish and hides from people so she is really hard to examine. But she is is putting on weight. Do you think shes pregnant?
BTW this was an unintentional breeding as she got dropped off with her mum and brothers.
    Thanks

She'd be pretty large if she got pregnant 63 days ago. See https://www.guineapigcages.com/forum...r-along-is-she.

that's what we thought but we weren't 100% sure. what would the bulge be then? its near were by other pig has ovarian cysts so could it be that? i don't want to check it properly in case its a baby pig and i damage it. (our vet said to check ovarian cysts you feel around then and squeeze gently)

Well, a vet might be able to diagnose an ovarian cyst by squeezing gently, but even a vet could misdiagnose one that way. Ovarian cysts are diagnosed by ultrasound.

Has the vet x-rayed her to see if she's got a pup inside? Is she showing any of the other signs of pregnancy?
