I had 4 guinea pigs - all female and about 5 years old. They all got together well and when introducing each new one, never had an issue.
This weekend, I introduced a new female about 6 months (Honey) I did neutral territory and everything I?ve done before, but this time there was a lot of squealing and chasing - no blood though. I put them in their cage now and I thought things were going okay, but the last 2 days my new one seems to only pick on one of her new cage mates (Caramel). When it happens, Caramel squeals like crazy and almost curls into a ball with her eyes shut and stays like that for a while. I don?t know if this is normal and they?re working things out, or if she?s bullying.
Any advice?
