Hello everyone, I work at a wood factory and have a bag full of maple shavings that are not too small and not dusty. I know aspen is what everyone seems to be using. But has anyone had experience using maple bedding? Answers elsewhere on the internet either don't mention " Maple" or don't really give a straight answer. I think one guy on this forum had used it for a few weeks with no issues.. Thanks!

Yes, I called the local vet.. and they said as long as its not cedar or pine or have a strong odor.. then it will probably be ok. But anyone else has any thoughts or experience... please let me know.

I think it's ok. The reason it isn't mentioned much is that it's not a product sold for bedding, and few people would have access to it. The only reason you've got access is because you work at a wood factory.
