In my older post, I explained how my guinea pig recently was pregnant and had babies. I decided to keep Coconut, the nearly all white (possibly silkie) with a brown spot and red eyes, as a companion.
I?ve made it a point to hold her everyday to get her use to being handled. Recently the past couple weeks I noticed her nibbling my hand when I pick her up. But recently it?s gotten worse where she actually bites down pretty hard but not breaking skin or drawing blood. When I do hold her and I?m with her in the same room as the cage, she does not want anything to do with me and what?s to be put back into the cage with the other two guinea pigs. I know they get plenty of hay and have several chew toys so I don?t think her teeth are growing too long. Is this something I should be concerned of? Is it a normal phase they go through?
