Genitals Fertility check for male guinea pigs

My guinea pig boar "Baby" has been having some troubles the same goes for "Ned". We've tried breeding both and neither have had any luck. We've tried this quite a few time while our main sows are in heat. I already found some stuff on how to do an at home fertility test. I have the materials to do so. A microscope, slides, etc. I also want to be a veterinarian so this will provide practice for the future. I just have one problem. How do I get sperm from them? Like is it like how they gather sperm from bulls, horses, dogs, etc.?
