I've been looking all over trying to find the answer. I know it's high in calcium, vitamin C and oxalates but also seen that it can be toxic in high doses but with no other information. Does anyone know where I can find this information or does anyone know how high is too much. I would really like to find this information.

If not what is considered a safe dose for everyday? It would be nice to get a scientific view on this

Thanks for any help you can provide

I don't know that there's a scientific view on it. I also don't know that the answer is the same for every guinea pig. Some will develop stones even on a low calcium diet, others will never develop them in spite of eating a high calcium diet.

The rule of thumb I'd go by is if the pig isn't leaving dried calcium spots in the cage, then a small spring a few times a week would be ok.
